I took on many opportunities to gain new skills and had Randy as a career mentor. I hadn’t personally met anyone from FAANG before Randy, so hearing about his experience getting into FAANG, and seeing his resume gave me an idea of what it takes to break into tech as someone with a design background.
Randy helped me set goals during my job search, and pointed out important interview strategies I had overlooked because I was too focused on preparing for the technical portion.
